Welcome to the very first seed planted in my Analog Garden: a personal letter & a fictional story (illustrated zine), sent to you by mail once quarterly, and paired with a digital world for further exploration.

Through this offering, I hope to become more familiar with writing fiction, hold myself accountable to keeping an accessible writing practice, while continuing to share with those who wish to read it.

Here, there’s room for the part of you that wants to go inward, to retreat and gather and ideate and soften, and the part of you that extends outward, eager to explore the vast terrain of your liminal spaces, your creative experiments, your digital worlds.

If you’d like to be the first to know when this offering goes live, join the waitlist.

Thanks for stopping by!

Analog gardening is the act of replanting and nurturing old projects and ideas so that they might find a more suitable environment to…

1. grow and expand or

2. decompose & start anew

— my own made-up definition

To my fellow fiction-curious writers, think of this offering as an invitation to join me in experimenting with writing more fiction (especially if you have no idea where to begin).

Alongside a personal letter, this quarterly missive will also include one fictional short story, formatted into a mid-length, illustrated zine.

For the time being, these stories will be separate to each other, meaning: each quarter, you’ll receive a standalone story written through the lens of contemporary fiction, magical realism, or fantasy, and packaged into a thoughtfully illustrated zine.

A shared digital world for further exploration, hosted in Notion

this will include
→ a digital archive of missives
→ inspiration board
→ themed discussions
→ announcements & FAQ
